Capacity Building Campaign

Capacity Building Campaign - Raising Funds to Provide More Services to More People with Developmental Disabilities

FJ Delandrea Place

WHY DONATE?

BUILDING CAPACITY

  • To create more services for the more than 260 people waiting for supports
  • To better support the people we already serve, right now and into the future
  • To redirect 1/4 million dollars of occupancy costs to direct services (approx. 10,000 hours of staff support), this could be used to:
    • Support more than 24 people living in their own apartment,
    • Help 30 more people find employment, or
    • Allow 30 more people to more fully participate in their community

CREATING EFFICIENCY

  • Bringing all our staff and services under one roof
  • Eliminate paying rent
  • All existing furniture and equipment will be re-used and re-purposed

MORE ACCESSIBLE

  • Families can access all our services in one location
  • Upgraded building that meets all accessibility standards
