\"Music<\/a><\/p>\n

The Community Links Program\u00a0is designed to assist adults with an intellectual disability to access meaningful activities during the day; whether provided through organized in-center activities or community-based programs.<\/p>\n

We liaise with and develop partnerships with local community resources to provide opportunities for people to participate in local clubs, recreational options, volunteering and connecting to other community options that are of interest.<\/p>\n

Assistance can be provided with planning daily activities that are unique and meaningful in accordance to the person’s goals and dreams with the ability to change as the persons interests change and opportunities present themselves for new experiences.<\/p>\n

Support can be provided to persons who have limited funding and require the support of a staff to assist them in connecting to their community for up to 10 hours a week.\u00a0 We will assist in developing a personalized schedule that reflects people\u2019s interests, abilities and support requirements.\u00a0\u00a0 A team of professional staff will provide side-by-side and\/or small group (1:3 staff ratio) support based on compatibility.<\/p>\n

An event calendar is distributed monthly, that informs people about what is happening in their community and it also provides an array of activities to select that are hosted by our program for people to experience.<\/p>\n
